Officers from Hampshire Constabulary’s major investigation team are investigating following the discovery of what they believe to be human remains.

Police were called by a member of the public at about 2.30pm on Wednesday, February 13, to an area of woodland off Basing Road. Officers were still on the scene at 4pm today.

The area is currently cordoned off while specialist teams carry out enquiries.
