PET supplies could soon be sold in Oakley if permission is granted to change the use of this old vet’s premises.
Kara Pym of Barn Lane, Basingstoke, has asked the borough council for a certificate of lawfulness to change the use of the building in Hill Road, Oakley, to a pet supply shop.
The application states that the vacant veterinary centre has been used for retail before, was once a butcher’s shop and that the proposed business is wanted in the village and has been highlighted in the Oakley village design statement.
