Giraffe is encouraging reading

A BASINGSTOKE restaurant has joined forces with publisher Barefoot Books to encourage families to read together.
Giraffe, in Festival Place, is inviting families to visit before 5pm from January 28 to February 1, and to bring a book.
Every child enjoying a story will receive a free kids’ meal deal when an adult orders a main course.
Five youngsters will also win a whole Barefoot Books library with 40 of its most popular titles, plus a £100 Giraffe voucher, by entering the competition at giraffe.net or barefootbooks.com.
