Vauxhall station reopens following helicopter crash

VAUXHALL railway station has reopened following this morning's fatal helicopter crash.

Two people died when a helicopter hit a crane near a building site and then fell to the ground, at around 8am.

South West Trains, which runs services between Basingstoke and London Waterloo, had been unable to pick up or drop off passengers at the station due to a police cordon.

The station has now reopened.
