THREE rough terrain vehicles worth thousands of pounds each were stolen from a site in Winchfield.

The theft is believed to have occurred sometime between 6pm on December 17, and 8.30am the following day.

Police said that three gates at the site in Station Road were damaged and three bright orange Kubota RTV900 XT vehicles were stolen. The vehicles are worth a total of £30,000.

PC Elizabeth Pirie, from the Hampshire Constabulary's targeted patrol team, urged people who may have seen the distinctive looking vehicles to contact police.

"These vehicles are easily identifiable by their bright orange colour," said PC Pirie. They are all but immovable without a key and a large lorry would have been necessary to transport them.

“If you have seen these vehicles or have any information that would help us locate them, please get in touch.

“I’d also like to remind people to remain vigilant and ensure all CCTV and security measures are in working order and premises are checked and left secure at all times.”

Anyone with any information should contact PC Pirie at Aldershot police station on 101, or call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555111.
