New bin collection dates announced by the council over Christmas

RUBBISH and recycling crews will now be working on Saturdays to catch up with changes to collection times over the Christmas break.
Basingstoke and Deane Borough Council have published the revised dates for grey and green bin collections over the festive period.
The affected dates run from December 24, through to January 12 and are available on the borough council’s website.
For homes with extra rubbish over Christmas, council refuse teams will also collect extra sacks left out on the first collection after Christmas day.
