Basingstoke collies bid for stardom

A PAIR of dogs from Basingstoke have qualified for the Kennel Club’s Olympia Agility Stakes that take place this week, as part of the London International Horse Show.
Ellie, belonging to Michelle Hewitt, and Kizzy, belonging to Janet Thrift, will be taking part in the large agility stakes. Both dogs are Border collies.
Michelle said: “We narrowly missed out at the Olympia novice semis last year, so getting through this year has really meant so much to me.”
The Stakes require dogs to take part in five finals at Olympia in London.
