THE Post Office in Basingstoke will open for longer in the run up to Christmas.
The branch, in London Street, will open from 8am to 7pm from Monday to Friday until Friday, December 21. The previous opening hours ran from 9am to 5.30pm.
The Saturday hours of 9am to 4pm will remain the same.
Andrew Thompson, Post Office regional manager for Hampshire, said: “Christmas is an extremely busy time for many people.
“We want to make this Christmas special and as stress free as possible for all our customers by offering longer opening hours at Basingstoke branch.”
