Olympic hockey hero Alex Danson helps Odiham charity fundraiser

A DINNER with Team GB star Alex Danson proved a hit in Odiham.
The hockey star talked to 120 people, at Mayhill Junior School, in The Bury, as part of a fundraising event for the Jack Bland Memorial Fund. The 27-year-old talked about her London 2012 experience, where she won a bronze medal.
The £1,800 raised will go towards cricket clubs in Hook and Odiham, and replacing the Christmas lights on the tower of All Saints’ Church.
