A KNIFE-WIELDING robber forced a man to hand over cash near a Basingstoke school.
The robbery took place between 9am and 9.30am on Sunday, November 25, as the 20-year-old victim walked on a footpath between Jefferson Road and Shooters Way, near South View Junior School.
Another man, described as white, with short brown curly hair, approached him, threatened him with a knife and demanded he hand over cash and a mobile phone.
Police said the thug took a quantity of cash before running off towards Jefferson Road.
He is described as 5ft 11ins tall, wore a blue hooded top, dark blue jeans and white trainers. He was clean shaven and spoke with a local accent.
