A MOBILE service run by Macmillan Cancer Support visited Basingstoke.

The mobile team of information and support specialists welcomed anyone on board with questions or concerns about cancer, for a confidential chat or to pick up information leaflets, without the need to make an appointment. The service is free. Amanda Cummins, Macmillan mobile cancer information and support specialist, said that more and more people are living with cancer as treatments improve.

She said: “They need more than medical help. They also need practical, emotional and financial support which the mobile team can provide.

“Cancer is the toughest fight many people will ever face.
