CRAZY challenges and fundraising fun will take place across the borough on Friday, as people raise money for this year’s Children in Need appeal.
We want to hear from groups, charities, business and schools who are supporting the annual BBC-backed event – so let us know what you are doing to raise funds.
Last year, Dennis Ward, a father-of-three, from Hackwood Road, Basingstoke, attempted to play a gig at 40 pubs in Basingstoke in just 12 hours, raising money through a collection at each venue.
At Basingstoke College of Technology, in Worting Road, students sold home-made cakes, while Ami Gurney, who was seven at the time, swam 1,000 metres at Basingstoke Aquadrome.
All money generated goes to help disadvantaged children and young people in the UK.
