KEMPSHOTT Junior School has improved and has been graded as “good” by Ofsted.
A team of inspectors from the education watchdog visited the school in Old Down Close on September 26.
A report published on October 18 said “pupils make good and frequently outstanding progress”.
Inspectors said several reasons prevented it from being outstanding, including the fact that pupils’ spelling is “careless and sometimes inaccurate”.
The last time the school was inspected, in January last year, it was graded as “satisfactory.”
