Teachers attend national curriculum conference
12:50pm Tuesday 30th October 2012 in Local By Emily Roberts, Chief Reporter
TEACHERS from more than 300 schools in Hampshire have attended a conference to examine developments to the national curriculum.
Those attending the Hampshire County Council-organised event heard from Tim Oates, chairman of the Expert Panel advising the Government on the national curriculum review.
Councillor Peter Edgar, assistant executive member for education, said: “This was a truly inspirational conference and a fine example of how Hampshire County Council takes the lead in keeping schools informed on new developments and new trends in educational thinking.”
