Inspectors visited Cornerstone Day Nursey

A NURSERY school has been graded as “good” by Ofsted.

Two inspectors from the education watchdog visited Cornerstone Day Nursery on September 11, and in a report published on October 5, they said: “Children make good progress in all areas of learning, in relation to their starting points.

"This is due to a skilled staff who have a thorough knowledge of children’s individual needs and how they learn.”

The nursery, in Priestley Road, was last inspected in April 2009 when it was graded “satisfactory.”

It has 130 children on roll.
