Sarah Keast and Sam Willoughby, from What's on 4 Little Ones, with the E-Business of the Year award
Award sponsored by Basingstoke and Deane Borough Council
The winner of the E-Business of the Year award, sponsored by Basingstoke and Deane Borough Council, has gone national.
What's On 4 Little Ones is a website, based in Bramley, that gives parents and carers a simple-to-use online directory of activities for babies and young children and now has 18,000 visitors a month performing 70,000-plus searches.
Sam Willoughby, receiving the award for herself and her business partner Marie Pedley, said: "When you launch a website business, you don't quite know how it's going to work out, especially as the internet is a big place and it's hard to get noticed.
"I'm so proud of how our website has expanded over the last 18 months.
"We have grown from a website with just a handful of listings in Basingstoke to a national website with 10,000 listings.

"I hope that our success will inspire other women who find themselves struggling with their employers to secure a flexible role after they have had children."
Describing what it was like being at the Inspire07 awards, Mrs Willoughby said: "It's been such an amazing evening. It's been so posh - like an awards ceremony you see on television, and everybody has been so lovely."
