TWO businessmen toasted success after collecting the Young Entrepreneur of the Year award, sponsored by accountancy firm HW.
Business partners 34-year-old Peter Sherwood and Steve Malone, 33, together run Infosec Technologies, based at ViewPoint, in Basing View, Basingstoke.
Soon to move to a new base at Beechwood, in Chineham Business Park, the company is a recognised industry security solutions provider, supporting household names such as Royal Bank of Scotland and BET365.
Mr Sherwood said winning the award has come at an exciting time for the company. He told the awards audience: "Business growth has been momentous. We're currently working to a five-year plan and, so far, we're exceeding forecasts."
On receiving the award, a jubilant Mr Sherwood had a few special thanks to make. He said: "Thank you to Business Link for all your support and thank you to the bean counters - the accountants - who have pushed us along the way."

Mr Malone told diners that he had fond memories of The Hampshire Court hotel. He explained: "During the early stages of when we were planning our business, we actually met up at the cafe here. Now here we are, two years later, at these awards."
Presenting the award, which was open to those under 35, was HW partner David Smy, who said: "We're delighted to support this award and recognise that young entrepreneurs are the people we need in the local economy.
"At HW, we are keen to assist young entrepreneurs who make their business ideas and dreams become a reality."
