THE air ambulance in Hampshire will receive a cash boost from bank fines.
The grant of £250,000 from the Libor bank fine fund was confirmed at a meeting on Tuesday between the Association of Air Ambulances and George Osborne, the Chancellor of the Exchequer.
The Hampshire and Isle of Wight Air Ambulance, based at Thruxton Airfield near Andover, is one of 20 charities to receive the sum.
