BASINGSTOKE hospital’s Council of Governors has welcomed five new members.
The governors work alongside the Board of Directors at Hampshire Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust (HHFT), which runs Basingstoke, Winchester and Andover.
The 15 governors work to ensure that local communities and staff have an influence in how services are developed and delivered by the trust.
Lilan Turner, Janet Budd, Jennifer Ramsey, Zoni Asif and Jennifer Barber have all taken on governor roles.
HHFT chairman, Elizabeth Padmore said: “I am pleased to welcome the new members on to the Council of Governors.
“I would also like to take this opportunity to thank those governors whose terms have come to an end or who have left us over the past year.
“Patient care is at the heart of everything we do and governors play a vital role in representing the communities we serve.”
