A GREEN-thinking teenager from Basingstoke had a fun time and enjoyed success as she represented Hampshire at her first pageant.
Isabelle Heath competed for the county in the Miss Earth Pageant in Birmingham in a bid to claim the Miss Earth England title.
Despite not taking the overall crown, 19-year-old Isabelle, who lives in Gabriel Park, Kempshott, beat the competition in one section – winning the Miss Eco Fashion Designer Award for her design T-shirt, and she came fifth in a “Miss Photogenic Award”.
The former Brighton Hill Community School student designed a T-shirt which featured a range of endangered animals such as leopards and elephants.
The Aston University student, who is studying international business and French, said: “I based it (the winning T-shirt) around the green goddess – it had a woman on it and I surrounded her with endangered animals.
“I was so shocked to win that section as there were so many good ones. The whole event was such good fun.”
