BASINGSTOKE MP Maria Miller has welcomed news that a new recycling bank for hard plastics has been installed by the borough council at Chineham Shopping Centre, and Sainsbury’s has installed a plastics recycling bank near its Hatch Warren store.
Mrs Miller, above, said: “These recycling banks will make it easier for residents to recycle more of their waste, including fruit and vegetable punnets, food and drink cartons, and margarine, butter and ice cream tubs. It is always more convenient if we can do our recycling at the same time as going to the shops.”
