AWE boffins taught schoolchildren that science can be fun when they spent a day helping them build and test water rockets.
A team of engineers from the Aldermaston facility spent time teaching children, aged between six and nine, how to build water rockets from plastic bottles at Bucklebury Primary School.
The day was part of AWE’s ongoing attempts to inspire interest in STEM subjects.
