CHILDREN from a school in Hartley Wintney were in distinguished company as they attended a ceremony in London to celebrate the Commonwealth.
Five Year 6 pupils from The Grey House attended the Commonwealth Observance at Westminster Abbey on March 10, which was Commonwealth Day.
Also present were The Queen, The Prince of Wales and the Earl and Countess of Wessex. Speakers included Malala Yousafzai, a young girl from Pakistan, who was shot in the head by the Taliban as she returned from school.
