BCoT principal Anthony Bravo was nominated for FE (Further Education) Leader of the Year as part of the Times Educational Supplement (TES) FE Awards.
Now in their third year, the FE Awards recognise the dedication and expertise of the people who, on a daily basis, make a significant contribution to improving the skill levels of young people and adult learners.
Mr Bravo, supported by his friends and colleagues, attended the glittering ceremony in London which was hosted by comedienne Jo Brand.
Although he did not win on the night, Mr Bravo said he was thrilled to attend as a nominee, adding: “I was really proud to be nominated for this award.
“However, it is really a reflection on the fantastic team of people I work with at BCoT. They are what make this college great.”
