RECYCLED materials were used to make cards and other items by children at a borough school.
The Year 6 pupils at Sherfield School, in Sherfield on Loddon, made the cards as part of an environmental project. They also designed models of the future using rubbish.
Mithili Royyuru, a geography teacher at the school, said: “They created models for gas energy and solar energy and water energy.
“One girl made a gas model – and her work was outstanding.
“They came up with their own designs.”
Materials used to make the models included paper cups and old greetings cards.
