‘Ridiculous Three’ swimmers Lauren McCann, Cara Wake, and Ben Wake
A TRIO of swimmers are looking to raise money for charity with a marathon challenge.
Chair of the Lordsfield Swimming Club, Lauren McCann, joined by niece and nephew Cara, nine, and Ben Wake, 11, will be swimming 200 lengths as a team in the club’s annual Swimathon over April 27-29, hoping to raise more than £150.
They have styled their efforts on the film The Ridiculous Six, calling themselves The Ridiculous Three and the trio are fundraising for Cancer Research UK, Marie Curie, and The Swimathon Foundation.
