Diane Jackson’s photo of Quidhampton featured on the BBC’s Weather Watchers as the editor’s pick of the day. The heavy frost in the -2C weather on Thursday last week meant that the wintry scene had a dusting of white.
The photo sees a horse and an alpaca enjoying a bite to eat on the freezing morning, as the sun begins to rise.
BBC Weather Watchers collects the best of viewer submitted photos of the weather, with some of them getting to appear on the television when the weather forecast is made, but only a few get the editor’s pick.
