A WEEK of tours and talks with renowned screenwriters, actors and actresses will be hosted at Highclere Castle.
Visitors to the home of Downton Abbey will be able to explore the gardens, listen to talks from screenwriters and actors on how books and scripts are transformed into successful television shows and popular films.
The event runs from Thursday, 17 May to Wednesday, 23 May and will be able to hear from special guests including screenwriter Debbie Horsefield, award-winning production industry veteran, Sue Quinn and bestselling author Paula Byrne.
The guided tours will include rooms which were both the set for Downton Abbey and are home to Lord and Lady Carnarvon. As well as the renowned television series, Downton Abbey, Highclere Castle has been the location for a number of other films and TV shows, including "Robin Hood, Prince of Thieves", "Eyes Wide Shut", "The Secret Garden", "Jeeves and Wooster" and parts of "Inspector Morse".
