IT WAS bronze for the netball team from the Clere School in a recent tournament.

The Clere School Year 11 netball team travelled to Liddington to compete in a PGL netball tournament where they competed against a number of other schools, including grammar schools from across the country.

Corinne King, PE teacher at the Clere said: “The standard of netball at these weekends is on another level and the girls were determined to get into the top three. These girls have put everything into their netball at The Clere over the last five years. They train hard after school and want to get better and learn new things all the time. They are passionate and determined and are role models to the younger pupils at the school.”
