Care home set for boost thanks to year of fundraising
A RESIDENTIAL care home in Tadley is set to get a financial boost from an upcoming, year-long charity drive.
Occupational health provider Trident Medical Services (TMS) has chosen SeeAbility as its charity of the year and aims to raise funds for its Heather House Residential Nursing Home.
Heather House, in Heather Drive, supports 16 young people with life-limiting conditions, including one person with a rare disease called juvenile Batten Disease. It is the only residential service of its kind in the UK.
TMS has set a target of £7,000 to raise by the end of August 2018, with staff also to volunteer for the charity.
