A CHOIR is looking for new members to help continue its growth.

Hart Male Voice Choir (HMVC) is looking for new members to share the group’s love for music.

The group was formed in May 1975 with the aims and objectives to develop choral singing to provide entertainment for performers and audiences.

For over 40 years now, the Odiham-based HMVC has offered the opportunity for men who enjoy music to share their pleasure by singing together With the support of HMVC president Alan Titchmarsh, the group is also looking to encourage young singers to join to add to the current 65 choristers.

Members will not only perform around the country, but in the past the choir has visited Holland, Spain, Sweden, Germany, South Africa, Portugal and Ireland.

In 2017 HMVC visited Scotland with major concerts in Stirling and Linlithgow.

If anyone is interested in joining this popular choir, there is no previous choral experience necessary as group voice-coaching and rehearsal CDs will be provided.

For those wanting to get a feel of what it is like being part of HMVC, there will be a taster evening on Wednesday, 14 March at 7.30pm in the Cross Barn, Palace Gate, Odiham.

For more information on how to become a member of the HMVC email j.salway@btinternet.com or call 01428 683 405.
