HUNDREDS of villagers filled the streets of Kingsclere as they remembered those servicemen and women who served their county.

The service was led by Rev Ben Read and Rev Rachel Borgers and saw members of the community gather outside the Kingsclere Methodist Church, in George Street on November 12.

Veterans led a parade through George Street to the church, where the service was help.

A minutes silence was observed by all in attendance, whilst members of various groups, including scouts and brownies held their flags high with pride.

Members of Kingsclere Parish Council showed their respects as chair of the council, Cllr John Sawyer placed a wreath at the villages war memorial in front of the church as well as other members of the community laying wreaths in a show of respect.
