CHILDREN at Bright Horizons Basingstoke Day Nursery and Preschool, in Chequers Road have created their own washing line, which has a display for each season.
The children also practised counting socks and matched them up before hanging on the washing line. The former was an exercise part of Bright Horizons’ Growing Mathematicians enhancement.
“We are really excited to try our next activity which will be using summer clothing to hang onto our washing line,” said Candice Walsh-Parks, deputy nursery manager.
“But there will be different types of clothing so the children will have to find the summer clothing."
