AN INVESTIGATION has begun into a crash this morning in which a man suffered serious injuries.
The 31-year-old man suffered injuries to his leg and collar bone when he was in collision with a white Vauxhall van outside the Apollo Hotel, in Popley Way, Popley.
As reported on this website, the crash took place at around 7.25am, and led to the closure of Popley Way from the Aldermaston Road Roundabout to Don Allen Drive.
The road reopened at 8.30am, after the man had been taken to Basingstoke hospital.
