POLICE are appealing for information after a bike wasstolen from a 16-year-old boy in the Chineham area.

The robbery took place between Crockford Lane and Reading Road on Tuesday, 2 January at around 6.20pm.

The victim was cycling on a footpath when he was approached by two males who told him to give them the bike, and then nudged him until he handed the bike over.

The first teen is described as white, aged 16 or 17, around 5 feet 7 inches of a slim build wearing a black Puffa-style jacket, black gloves, black jeans and black trainers – he had his hood up at the time.

The second male is described as white, of a similar age, around 6-foot-tall of medium build and was wearing a black Nike top, black jeans and dark trainers The bike has been described as a blue and green Carrera Hellcat 15 limited edition men’s mountain bike.

Police are asking for anyone with information on this incident to come forward and would like to hear from anyone in the Crockford Lane/Hanmore Road area of Chineham or anyone that may have seen the bike recently.
