RESIDENTS are being warned to expect winds of nearly 50mph on Sunday morning, with rain also forecast.
The Met Office has issued a yellow weather warning for the region, with winds possible causing travel disruption and power cuts.
Forecaster are advising people that the south coast could be battered by the winds between 4am and 3pm.
Temperatures are expected to stick at around 7C for most of the morning, but with the winds it is likely to feel more like little above freezing.
Heavy downpours are also predicted during the early hours of Sunday morning.
