THE hunt for the next big amateur baker is underway as preparations being for the the ninth series of The Great British Bake Off.
If you are a dab hand with dough or marvellous with meringue or just after a famous Paul Hollywood handshake, now is the perfect opportunity to get involved in the hit show.
A fresh batch of bakers are now being asked to put their best bake forward.
If you fancy putting your skills to the test, you can now apply and prove what you’re made of. Or if you know someone up for the challenge, tell them to get off their soggy bottoms, give them a crème pat on the back and persuade them to apply.
