AN INDOOR ski centre in Basingstoke is set to re-open under new management.

Snozone who operate two premier indoor real snow slopes in the UK will now provide Hampshire and the surrounding areas with a brand new snowsports offering at the Basingstoke Leisure Park

The change comes after Skiplex Ltd, which previously ran the centre went into liquidation in July of this year.

Snozone will run the two dry slopes within iFLY ‘s indoor skydiving centre, under the name Skizone, differentiating Basingstoke from their other sites that have real snow will open its doors on October 23.

Using their expertise and experience within the snowsports sector the firm will introduce a ski and snowboard coaching programme designed to develop a very effective pathway from beginner to recreational skier or snowboarder and beyond, which will truly prepare each guest for the alps.

Kyle Bell group general manager at Snozone said: “Expanding our group operations with Skizone Basingstoke is a great way for Snozone to bring our expertise to a wider audience.

“We pride ourselves on the quality of our service, knowledge and unique way of coaching that really benefits our guests and ensures they achieve their aims.  We’re also excited to continue our relationship with iFLY who we’ve worked closely with for many years in Milton Keynes.”
