AROUND 70 firefighters tackled a blaze at a barn in Kingsclere in the early hours of this morning.
At 12:31am this morning, eight fire engines and specialist vehicles from the Basingstoke, Tadley, Overton, Whitchurch, Fleet, Andover, Redbridge, Eastleigh and Rushmoor stations were called to the fire in Newbury Road, Kingsclere.
The fire started in a barn, before spreading to several other farm buildings, with the firefighters stopping the flames before they reached a fertilizer storage tank.
Crews from Dorset and Wiltshire Fire and Rescue Service also had to be drafted in to tackle the blaze.
Four bulls in a field nearby were led to safety by the fire service’s Animal Rescue unit.
The crews used 14 sets of breathing apparatus, two hose reels, two jets and two foam jets to stop the fire.
Fire crews left the scene at 3:28am.
