AFTER a long wait, staff and governors at Hook Infant School got a look inside their new early years learning building.

The new spacious learning centre was officially opened by Ranil Jayawardena, MP for North East Hampshire, on Friday last week at the very school he went to.

Guests were given a tour of the new facility which includes state-of-the-art learning equipment and an outside learning area.

Headteacher Melanie Walker said; “We have all been very excited about this project coming together for quite a while. ”

Hampshire Country Council provided the funding for the building with many other partners involved in the design.
