RAILWAYS users are facing delays following a signal failure.
Trains are currently unable to run from Basingstoke to Salisbury; with passengers being advised to seek alternative routes or speak to a member of staff regarding diverted trains.
Passengers travelling between Basingstoke and Salisbury are advised to allow extra time for their journeys as delays are expected to last until 1pm.
A statement on the national rail website said: “You can use South West Trains services to Southampton Central, changing at Southampton Central for services towards Salisbury.
“Should you wish to travel to Overton, Whitchurch, Andover or Grateley replacement road transport is operating between Basingstoke and Salisbury.”
