THE Gazette has teamed up with The Anvil to offer one lucky reader the chance to win two tickets to see iconic comedian Stewart Lee at the Basingstoke theatre next month – as well as a copy of his new book.

Lee heads to the town on June 9 to showcase his first brand new full-length show since the awardwinning Carpet Remnant World, Content Provider.

The 49-year-old comic made his name during the mid-90s as one half of the radio duo Lee and Herring – alongside Richard Herring.

He then co-wrote and co-directed the mock Broadway hit Jerry Springer: The Opera – a critical success that sparked a backlash from Christian groups who staged a series of protests outside its early stagings.

But now, four years after writing and performing his TV show, Stewart Lee’s Comedy Vehicle, Content Provider, the Shropshireborn performer is back out on the road.

To win a pair of tickets to his show at The Anvil, all you have to do is answer this one simple question:

During the 90s, who was Lee’s partner on the radio?

A – Richard Herring

B – Richard Hammond

C – Richard Madeley
