WORTING Road bridge will be closed this evening for final repairs.
The eastbound side of Worting Road is set to be closed between 8.30pm and 1am.
Residents using the road will be directed to take the diversion down the slip road to Winchester Road roundabout, in order to go round and come back along the road on the other side.
Cllr Mike Westbrook, councillor for Brookvale and Kings Furlong, said: "Highways are hopeful this will complete the bridge repair and are planning to remove the concrete barriers on the evening of the 24th January."
The railing on the bridge had been damaged after a collision between two vehicles on September 28.
