POLICE are trying to track an elderly man who was assaulted in Basingstoke.

Police received a report of an incident that happened in the car park outside Harvey's Furniture store in the Brighton Hill Retail Park on Winchester Road on January 6, approximately 2:50pm.

An elderly man was driving a small, black, four-door car when two men walked in front of the vehicle. It is alleged that one of the men acted aggressively towards the driver and hit the car with his hand.
