THE North Hampshire Prostate Cancer Support Group (NHPCSG) held their first social event last month.
The group met at their new venue at Weybrook Park Golf Club in Rooksdown Lane in Sherborne St John on December 15, where there was a raffle and Christmas dinner. The raffle prize was donated by Tesco.
The group’s members, which is just under 100 people, regularly meet on the last Thursday of every month between 2pm and 4pm. There are around 50 members in total who regularly turn up to the support meetings, where people can share their experiences with prostate cancer with the rest of the group.
