A MAN is in hospital with serious life-changing injuries after falling from a bridge in Basingstoke on Sunday.
Hampshire Constabulary said it was called to the incident at 3.01pm, to concern for the welfare of a man seen standing on a bridge over the A339.
The 28-year-old was then seen falling from the bridge before landing on the ground below.
He suffered serious life-changing injuries and was taken to Southampton General Hospital for treatment.
No crime has been identified.
The incident is the second in Basingstoke this month in which a person has been injured falling from a bridge.
As previously reported in The Gazette, a teenage girl was taken to Basingstoke hospital with serious head and back injuries after falling from a bridge over the A339 on October 7.
