CONCERNS are growing for the welfare of a 53-year-old man who has been missing since July.

David Henderson, who was last seen on July 25 is believed he might have travelled to Basingstoke from his Dorset home as he has connections in the area.

Mr Henderson, who lives in Coronation Avenue, Dorset was last seen at around 1.40pm on Monday July 25 in the Bournemouth area.

Described as white, of medium build and 5”8 tall, with short light hair, usually unshaven and is known to dress smartly.

Mr Henderson was last seen wearing a dark T-shirt and trousers, black shoes and a pair of glasses.

Police sergeant Claire Bankes, of Dorset Police, said: “We are becoming increasingly concerned for David's welfare due to the amount of time he has now been missing.

"I am appealing to anyone who may know where David is to contact police urgently.

“I am also releasing a photo of David in the hope that someone recognises him and is able to provide his whereabouts.

“If David sees this appeal, I would urge him to please make contact to let us know he is safe.”

It is also believed that Mr Henderson has ties in Manchester as well.
