TASTY treats were enjoyed by shoppers in Festival Place last weekend, at an annual food festival.
Crowds gathered in the shopping centre for the fourth Eat Street, which featured an array of food entertainment including demonstrations from special guest Nadiya Hussain, who won the sixth series of The Great British Bake Off.
The author, who has signed publishing deals with Penguin Random House, Hodder Children’s Books and Harlequin, gave the audience an insight into her cooking knowledge as she showed how to make some of her favourite dishes and signed copies of her cookbook.
Steven Connolly, Festival Place centre director, said: “We were thrilled to bring Eat Street back for a fourth year and we couldn’t be happier with the feedback from the customers and retailers alike. It was great to have the wonderful Nadiya involved as well as so many of our retailers.”
