Child airlifted to hospital after being hit by car is expected to make full recovery
A CHILD who was airlifted to hospital after being hit by a car is due to be discharged from hospital today.
As reported on The Gazette website, the 10-year-old boy was flown to hospital by Hampshire and Isle of Wight Air Ambulance last Thursday with serious head injuries, after he was knocked down by a car in Sherborne Road, Oakridge at around 3.30pm.
Hampshire Constabulary has confirmed that he is expected to make a full recovery.
