The Pink Place summer picnic in 2014
AN ANNUAL summer picnic will take on a royal theme this year to celebrate The Queen’s 90th birthday.
Basingstoke charity The Pink Place is hosting the event at Manydown Farm, in Scrapps Hill, Worting Road, this Saturday from 2pm until late.
There will be live music, stalls, facepainting, food, a licensed bar and a children’s fancy dress competition.
Family tickets for two adults and two children cost £12.50 in advance or £15 on the day.
A single adult ticket is £6 in advance or £7 on the day, and under 16s and senior citizens are £3.
Children under six-years-old are not charged.
